Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Walood Kassab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Inci Yarakos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kassab comes to the cage accompanied by Merauder - Life Is Pain. Inci Yarakos struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yarakos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kassab sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Yarakos somewhat. Kassab half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Kassab throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Yarakos tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kassab is in Yarakos's guard. Kassab stands up over Yarakos, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Yarakos wants to stand but Kassab is controlling the position. Kassab might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kassab postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kassab is in close to Yarakos's body, working some short punches and elbows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yarakos is rocked! Kassab drops back looking for a leg! Yarakos is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Yarakos manages to kick Kassab off! Kassab jumps back into Yarakos's guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kassab postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Yarakos is still in real trouble! Can Kassab finish him? He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Kassab looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Yarakos can't hide his disappointment, as Kassab celebrates the victory.
