Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Janus Jupiter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jax Marciano!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jupiter throws a lazy uppercut

and Marciano counters by clinching up.

Marciano jumps guard.
Marciano is looking to stand up but Jupiter isn't so interested in that idea.
Marciano can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jupiter controls the pace.
Marciano trying to control the position.
Marciano keeping moving, preventing Jupiter from controlling successfully.
Jupiter throwing strikes from guard but Marciano blocks nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jupiter won't allow Marciano to sweep him here.
Jupiter is looking to work some ground and pound but Marciano has wrist control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jupiter trying to control the position from guard on top but Marciano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Janus Jupiter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marciano slips a straight right by Jupiter.
Marciano tries to counter with a clinch but Jupiter shakes him off and moves away.
Jupiter misses with an uppercut
enabling Marciano to counter with a crisp jab.
Jupiter misses with a shot to the body
enabling Marciano to counter with a crisp jab.
Marciano lands with an uppercut that bounces Jupiter off the cage and back into range.
Jupiter throws the left hand but Marciano avoids the punch easily.

Marciano rushes Jupiter and presses him up against the cage.
Jupiter stalling in the clinch but Marciano improves position.

Marciano ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Marciano no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Marciano really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jupiter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jupiter trying to control the position from guard on top but Marciano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jupiter's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Jupiter stands and throws Marciano's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Marciano wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Jupiter has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Marciano's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Marciano is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Jupiter!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Janus Jupiter!
