Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Ribeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zinar Kozad II (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kozad II is bobbing his head along to his entrance song:

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kozad II fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ribeiro, pushing him back against the cage.
Ribeiro drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kozad II missing with knees to the body.
Ribeiro is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Ribeiro tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Junior Ribeiro. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ribeiro has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Kozad II is trying to keep an underhook but Ribeiro manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Kozad II is looking to improve his position.

Ribeiro is trying to control the action in half guard but Kozad II is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ribeiro swats away the attempt to clinch by Kozad II.
Ribeiro uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kozad II.
Ribeiro fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Kozad II bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ribeiro is breathing heavily.

Kozad II is working to tighten is grip on Ribeiro's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Ribeiro has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Kozad II is really squeezing tight and eventually Ribeiro passes out! Kozad II breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
