Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abdul Raheem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Doe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Abdul Raheem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 15 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Doe!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Raheem.
Raheem ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Raheem doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Raheem moves to clinch but Doe breaks away
and Doe counters with a two punch combo.
Raheem fails with an attempt to clinch.
Raheem throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Doe sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Doe throws a lazy right hand but Raheem sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Raheem throws a looping overhand right but Doe ducks down to avoid it.
Raheem looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Doe scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Raheem is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Doe is controlling him well.
Doe postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Doe working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Raheem avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Doe.
Raheem tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Doe wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Doe thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Raheem is not content to let Doe control the position.

Doe has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Raheem tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Raheem manages to reverse the position and now he's in Doe's guard. Nice work there by Raheem.
Doe wants to sweep but no luck.
Raheem throwing strikes but missing.

Doe working for a triangle but Raheem defends it easily.

Doe is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Raheem defends well.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Doe dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Raheem thows a leg kick but Doe checks it
and Doe counters with a right hand to the body.
Good exchange - Raheem coming out on top.
Doe ducks under a wild hook from Raheem.
Raheem throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Raheem misses with a hook to the body
letting Doe counter with a right hand.
Doe lands with an uppercut that bounces Raheem off the cage and back into range.
Raheem is looking to clinch.

Raheem clinches with his opponent.
Doe has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Raheem misses with a knee strike.
Raheem throws a knee to the head but misses.
Doe changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Raheem fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Doe looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
John Doe has got the better of the ground game so far.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Well, if Doe is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Raheem tries to get to full guard but Doe has control of the leg.

Doe drops an elbow to the side of Raheem's head.
Doe scores with a big shot! Raheem's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Raheem! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Doe!
In his post fight interview, John Doe gave a big smile as he said 'Holy shit, 2 fights in a row with a game-plan and 2 wins.. Guess this is what I'm best at..'.
The defeated Abdul Raheem had this to say: 'I am Original Jim. Such original!'.
