Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muay Thai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Funky Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thai comes to the cage accompanied by Town Called Malice. Punch comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Marky Mark and the Funky Punch - No Mercy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Funky Punch!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Punch.
Thai connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Punch momentarily.
Punch throws a head kick that misses.
Punch lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Muay Thai has been cut.
Thai feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Punch sprawling to the canvas! Punch rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Thai finish him?!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Punch is looking to clinch.
Nice straight punches there by Punch. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Punch.
Thai pushes Punch away with a front kick.
Punch fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Thai on the side of the head.
Punch throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Thai on the side of the head.
Punch thows a leg kick but Thai checks it
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Thai tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Thai is pawing at Punch, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Punch's nose. Punch is badly hurt! Thai pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Punch tries desperately to hold on but Thai is relentless in his assault! As Punch receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Thai away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Muay Thai!
Muay Thai decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
