Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Conor McConnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McConnell comes to the cage accompanied by Immortal Technique Point of no return. Jackson Ramos is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor McConnell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jackson Ramos! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Joseph Jones and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramos slips under a jab from McConnell. Ramos slips under a jab from McConnell. Ramos throws a counter combo. Ramos uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McConnell. Ramos shoots in and drives through. McConnell sprawls well. Ramos fails miserably with a takedown attempt. McConnell swinging wildly here.
Ramos darts in looking for a takedown but McConnell gets double underhooks and turns Ramos into the cage. Conor McConnell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackson Ramos. Ramos shoots in but McConnell avoids the takedown attempt easily. We've been told by McConnell's head coaches at Nonstop Intensity that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fight moves into the clinch position. McConnell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ramos tries to clinch up.
That's one minute gone in the round. McConnell takes the fight into the clinch. Ramos tries to break the clinch but McConnell is controlling the position. McConnell pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ramos shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McConnell's guard. McConnell is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McConnell lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. McConnell wants to stand but Ramos has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Ramos trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Ramos wants to sweep here but McConnell controlling him for the moment. McConnell won't allow Ramos to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McConnell wants to stand and escape but instead Ramos has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Ramos won't allow McConnell to sweep him here. McConnell is working hard here to advance position. Ramos trying to control but McConnell is working from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now McConnell is on top in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ramos trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Ramos has momentary wrist control but McConnell slips an elbow through the middle. Ramos has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think McConnell should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Ramos has tightened it up now! McConnell should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
