Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kicky McLegs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buck Futter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kicky McLegs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Buck Futter!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Eddie Farnsworth and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Futter has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McLegs finds it's way round the side to connect with Futter's head.
McLegs tests Futter's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Futter walks into a left hand.
McLegs lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
McLegs scores with a nice strike.
Futter tries to move into range but McLegs moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Futter has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Some wild striking there from McLegs.

Futter closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Futter lands in his opponent's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Futter is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Futter pushing down on McLegs's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Futter looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
McLegs definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Futter is trying to work for a kimura but McLegs is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Futter passes to side control.
McLegs is trying to buck Futter off.

Futter tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Futter has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Futter happy to just control the position for now.
It looks like Futter might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Futter's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Futter is working to tighten his grip on McLegs's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. McLegs has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Futter is really squeezing tight and eventually McLegs passes out! Futter breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

After the fight, Buck Futter was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
