The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jarvis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Welsh forces Jarvis back against the cage and clinches.

Jarvis changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Welsh fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Welsh lands a big head kick that sends Jarvis tumbling to the mat! Welsh takes a step backwards and waves Jarvis back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Jarvis is rocked!
It looks like Cedric Jarvis has been cut.
Welsh looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Welsh backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Jarvis's temple! It sends Jarvis violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Welsh celebrates and the doctors try to help Jarvis!
