Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Makahlen Gorbachoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Te Huna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Te Huna's choice of entrance music: Chevelle-Jars. Gorbachoff has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Makahlen Gorbachoff is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Te Huna!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorbachoff throws out a loose jab but Te Huna uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gorbachoff misses with a hook to the body
and Gorbachoff takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Gorbachoff is breathing heavily.
Te Huna throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gorbachoff sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Te Huna on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Te Huna on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gorbachoff. Gorbachoff obviously looking to wear him down.

and Te Huna counters with a left and a right that stings Gorbachoff.
Te Huna looks to land a combination. Gorbachoff sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Makahlen Gorbachoff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gorbachoff is rocked!
Te Huna throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gorbachoff stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Te Huna counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Te Huna throws a right hand that Gorbachoff ducks under and follows up with a left that Gorbachoff also avoids with ease.

James Te Huna dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gorbachoff takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Gorbachoff might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Te Huna fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Te Huna rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gorbachoff moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Te Huna has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

and Te Huna counters with a straight that turns Gorbachoff's legs to rubber! Te Huna pushes forward with more strikes and Gorbachoff goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
