Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Victor Cradle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Irgam Rasec! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rasec defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cradle. Rasec tries to clinch there but Cradle circles away.
Cradle shoots for a double leg takedown but Rasec sprawls well. He's pushed Cradle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Rasec misses with an uppercut
and Cradle counters with a left to the body. Cradle closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rasec to the mat! Rasec manages to get full guard. Rasec bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cradle's guard. Cradle has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Rasec has passed into side control.
Cradle is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Rasec is controlling him well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cradle is trying to work for a sweep but Rasec has mounted him! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rasec throwing strikes here but Cradle is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Rasec avoids the attempt from Cradle to control. Cradle is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Cradle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rasec on the ground.

He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Rasec with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Cradle is fending him off so far but Rasec persists. Nope, Cradle circles away and we're back to standing. Rasec tries to clinch up. Cradle seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Rasec wants to clinch but Cradle slips to the side and Cradle makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. That's two minutes gone in the round. Cradle breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Cradle. Cradle sets himself, and Rasec steps forward looking for the clinch! Cradle avoids it this time. Cradle throws a wild body kick that Rasec sees coming a mile off. Cradle keeps the fight on the outside. Cradle throws a counter high kick but Rasec was just alert enough to avoid it. Rasec avoids a kick to the body.

Rasec tries to circle away but Cradle has him pinned against the cage. Rasec is trying to drag Cradle to the mat but Cradle just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Cradle prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cradle breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Cradle darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Rasec kicks Cradle off and gets back to his feet. Cradle fails with a takedown attempt. Rasec with the counter takedown but Cradle avoids it easily. Rasec misses with a takedown attempt and Cradle counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Victor Cradle is winning the standup battle so far. Cradle shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The fighters are battling for position here. Rasec manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Rasec just misses with a elbow thrown towards Cradle's brow. Rasec goes for a takedown in the clinch but Cradle prevents it.

Nice takedown defense from Cradle. No joy for Rasec on that attempt. Cradle shoots in for a takedown but Rasec shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Cradle rushes Rasec and presses him up against the cage. Cradle can't get the takedown.

Rasec should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Cradle utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Rasec not doing a lot at the moment. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rasec gets to his feet. Cradle looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Cradle comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Irgam Rasec. I think Rasec has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
