Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fat Hoos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tobias Funke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoos comes to the cage accompanied by The Von Bondies- C'mon C'mon. Funke has chosen Disturbed - Glass Shatters as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fat Hoos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tobias Funke! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Columbo Gatti and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoos stuffs the takedown. Funke fails to land the takedown. Hoos tries for a takedown but Funke circles away easily and Funke counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Funke. Funke stopping the sweep attempt from Hoos. Hoos throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Hoos keeping moving, preventing Funke from controlling successfully. Hoos throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Funke advances position into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Funke works to advance to full mount. Hoos defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Funke looking to control but Hoos is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Hoos is working to get back to half guard.
Hoos is working hard here to advance position. Funke controlling from mount. Funke trying to control but Hoos is having none of it. Hoos tries to reverse the position but Funke maintains control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Funke can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hoos is looking to escape. Hoos tries to reverse the position but Funke maintains control. Hoos wants to hold on but Funke pushes him away. Hoos has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Funke's lack of action.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hoos is in trouble now - Funke has advanced to mount! Hoos manages to regain half guard. Good work. Funke wants to take a breather but Hoos is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Funke scoring with strikes to the body and head. Hoos is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Funke's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Funke's back! Hoos has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Funke has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Hoos is breathing heavily. Funke tries to escape but Hoos has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Hoos is trying to stick to Funke's back but Funke is turning into Hoos. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Hoos's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Funke. Funke landing with the ground and pound. Funke decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Hoos swats away the attempt to clinch by Funke.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hoos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Hoos trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hoos lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Funke is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Hoos wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Funke wants to hold on but Hoos pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tobias Funke dominated that round. That's time! Hoos's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Funke feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Funke passes Hoos's left leg - he's now in half guard. Funke is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hoos defends it well. Funke blocks the strikes from Hoos.
Funke perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Hoos tries to roll over but Funke keeps him under control. Hoos wants to control but Funke is keeping busy.
Hoos moves into full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Funke trying to control the position from guard on top but Hoos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Funke gets to his feet - Hoos follows without any prompting. Funke keeps the fight on the outside. Funke shoots and misses and Hoos counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Funke won't allow Hoos to pass to mount. Hoos throwing shots but Funke is blocking nicely. Hoos trying to control the pace. Funke has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hoos is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Funke is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Hoos is staying active. Hoos is pressing down on Funke's thigh, looking to free his foot. Funke is holding on for now. Funke looking for submissions off his back. Hoos working the head and body with strikes.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Funke misses with a takedown attempt and Hoos counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoos takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Hoos moves nicely into side control. Funke manages to work his way to half guard, despite Hoos's best efforts. Funke looking for submissions off his back. Hoos is taking a breather. Funke says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Funke is trying to get back to full guard. Fat Hoos overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hoos takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Funke wants to get back to his feet.
Hoos is trying to work for a kimura but Funke is defending well.
Hoos trying to control from Funke's half guard. Funke has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Hoos wants to pass the guard but Funke is keeping the position. Hoos won't allow Funke to sweep him here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fat Hoos dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!
Funke tries for a takedown but Hoos circles away easily and Hoos counters with a single leg into guard. Funke didn't expect that. Hoos wants to control from the top but Funke keeps moving. Funke looking for a guillotine here but Hoos defends easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hoos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Funke swivels though and keeps the full guard. Funke wants to stand up but Hoos is controlling him. Funke trying to keep a closed guard but Hoos is proving a slippery customer.
Hoos loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Funke manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Hoos manages to regain half guard. Good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hoos moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Hoos not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Funke gets to his feet. Hoos looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Hoos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hoos looking to pass the guard. Funke looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Funke swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hoos trying to control but Funke is working from the bottom. Hoos looking to pass the guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hoos tries for a takedown but Funke circles away easily and Funke holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Funke manages to break the clinch.
Funke darts in trying to clinch and Hoos counters with a nice double leg into side control. Funke won't be happy with that. Funke struggling a bit here. Funke sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Funke looks like he's trying to stand up.
Hoos slows the pace down in half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Fat Hoos showed his dominance in that final round. I think Hoos has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
