Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harvey Dent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Terrier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harvey Dent! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pat Terrier! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Lou da Vinci and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Terrier swinging wilding here.
Dent swats away the attempt to clinch by Terrier. Terrier shoots for a double leg takedown but Dent sprawls well. He's pushed Terrier's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Dent closes the distance and clinches up with Terrier, looking for a takedown. Dent pushes Terrier against the cage but Terrier circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. No luck for Terrier with that takedown attempt. Terrier misses with a head kick.
Dent rushes Terrier and presses him up against the cage. Dent pushes Terrier back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Terrier has clasped his hands together around Dent's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Dent gets back to half guard. Dent is not content to let Terrier control the position. Dent tries to roll over but Terrier keeps him under control. Dent is trying to maintain the position but Terrier is very close to passing his half guard. Dent is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Terrier's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Terrier's back! Dent is hanging on to Terrier's back as he tries to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Terrier breaks Dent's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Dent pushes Terrier off and scrambles back to his feet.
Terrier gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Dent cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Harvey Dent has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pat Terrier. Terrier looks gassed! Dent drives through and clinches with Terrier against the cage.
Dent scores with a shot to the side of Terrier's head. Dent scores with an uppercut up the middle. Dent creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Terrier's defenses. Dent has hold of one of Terrier's legs. Terrier is fighting the takedown attempt but Dent gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Dent stands and steps away. Terrier gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Dent tries to clinch there but Terrier circles away.
Dent closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Dent lands a nice shot to the body. Dent jumps guard and drags Terrier to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Dent seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Dent pushes Terrier off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dent moves in looking to clinch but Terrier pushes him off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Terrier shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dent but Dent pushes him off and we're back to square one. Dent has closed the distance and engaged Terrier in a clinch.
Dent escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dent wants to clinch. Terrier shoots in and drives through. Dent sprawls well. Dent stuffs the takedown attempt from Terrier. Terrier gets slowly back to his feet. Dent gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Dent gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Dent stands up from Terrier's guard - Dent perhaps looking for a knockout. Dent has Terrier up against the cage in a clinch.
Dent working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Terrier tries to break the clinch but Dent is controlling the position. Terrier misses with some punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dent lands a knee to the body.
Dent jumps guard and drags Terrier to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Dent is looking to stand up but Terrier isn't so interested in that idea. Dent pushes Terrier off and gets back to his feet.
Dent gets the takedown into side control. Dent avoids the strikes from the bottom by Terrier. Terrier tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Terrier is looking for a sweep. Dent controls the position from side control. Terrier is looking for a sweep. Dent decides to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Terrier throws a right and a left that both miss. Dent feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Dent showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Dent gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Dent closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dent gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Dent bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Dent decides to stand back up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Terrier looks to land a combination but Dent avoids it well. Dent drives through and clinches with Terrier against the cage.
Dent unloads a knee to the mid-section. Terrier lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Dent breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Terrier throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Harvey Dent dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Dent lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Terrier misses with a jab, cross combination.
The fight stays on the outside here - Terrier looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Some wild striking there from Terrier.
Dent gets in close and instigates a clinch. Terrier wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Terrier prevents a takedown attempt there.
Dent lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Terrier backwards. Dent using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Dent lands a nice knee to the body. Dent goes for a takedown attempt but Terrier pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Dent gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Dent leaning his opponent against the cage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dent creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Terrier's defenses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Terrier's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Dent lands a right hand that snaps the head of Terrier backwards. Dent prevents Terrier from breaking the clinch. Terrier is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Dent is keeping busy. Dent lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Terrier takes an elbow to the forehead. Dent drags the fight down to the ground.
Dent manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Terrier manages to get himself to full guard.
Dent sitting in guard here, content to control. Dent stands up from guard. Let's bang! Terrier darts in trying to clinch and Dent counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Terrier! Dent controlling the pace for now. Dent's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Terrier is trying desperately to improve position. Dent is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Terrier can do to turn this around? Dent controlling from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dent has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Harvey Dent just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Dent darts in and clinches Terrier up against the cage. A shot in the inside from Dent. Dent lands a nice elbow. Dent prevents the takedown attempt.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Dent. Terrier wants to break free but Dent has control.
Dent drops down looking for an ankle pick but Terrier pulls his leg out and moves away.

Terrier is working an open guard so Dent takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Dent gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Terrier tries to land knees in the clinch but Dent avoids the damage to the body. Terrier jumps guard but Dent stands there with Terrier around his waist. Terrier gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Harvey Dent dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Terrier throws a head kick that misses and Dent counters with a lovely shot to the body. Dent throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Terrier's head. Dent shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Dent was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Dent with good strikes from the mount here! Terrier is looking to get to half guard. Dent content just to control the position here. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Terrier wants to control but Dent is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dent controlling from mount. Terrier is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Harvey Dent just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Terrier closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dent circles away. Dent clinches but Terrier breaks the clinch and Terrier counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Dent keeps control of the position for the meantime. Dent pushes Terrier off and gets back to his feet. Dent tries to clinch but Terrier is having none of it. Dent looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Dent controlling the action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Terrier looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Dent performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Dent stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Dent plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Dent scores a takedown into full mount! Terrier really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Terrier is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Dent fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

And that's the end of the fight! Harvey Dent showed his dominance in that final round. Well Dent has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
