Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akao Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida fails to land the takedown.
Machida moves in looking to clinch but Silver pushes him off.

Machida scores with a takedown into Silver's guard.
Silver is trying to keep Machida in close.
Machida pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Silver is keeping the position for now.
Machida has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Silver is proving hard to escape from.
Machida is looking to work some ground and pound but Silver has wrist control.

Silver working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Machida doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Machida manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Machida stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silver swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Silver lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Machida!

Machida tries to lock up and control but Silver gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Machida is trying to escape the mount.

Silver is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Silver extends the arm and Machida is forced to tap!
