Vale with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Vale slips a nice elbow through Face's hands, connecting with Face's forehead. Face could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Vale scoring with strikes to the body and head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vale lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Face is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Vale postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Face in real trouble here! The ref calls for Face to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
