Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Soto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baby Boy Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baby Boy Harris is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Carlos Soto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Baby Boy Harris! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Harris fails to land with a series of punches.
Harris plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Harris clinches up against the cage. Soto breaks the clinch.
Harris throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Soto. Soto thows a left - swing and a miss! Harris ducks under a wild hook from Soto. Harris avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Harris misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Soto looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Harris keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Soto darts in and out, connecting with a jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Soto looks to land a left hand but Harris moved out of range nicely. Harris moves into the clinch. Soto lands a right hand that snaps the head of Harris backwards. Soto breaks the clinch.
Harris throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Soto connects with a body shot. Soto throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Harris throws a counter combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Soto doesn't seem bothered though. Harris defending well as Soto loads up on a big left hand. Harris takes a body punch but keeps moving. Harris closes the distance and pushes Soto back into the cage. Soto breaks from the clinch.
Harris scores with a decent looking hook. Soto misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Harris counters with a nice low kick that buckles Soto's knee momentarily. Harris misses with a looping left. Harris throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Soto. Soto was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Baby Boy Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Harris ducks under a wild hook from Soto. Harris looks for the body kick but Soto saw that one coming. Harris swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Harris throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Harris throws a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action! Soto throws the left hand but Harris avoids the punch easily. Harris throws a right hand that Soto ducks under and follows up with a left that Soto also avoids with ease. Harris throws a right and a left that Soto avoids nicely. Soto swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Soto throws a jab but it's blocked by Harris. Soto lands with an overhand left. Harris fails with an attempt to clinch.
Harris is looking to clinch. It looked like Soto wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Soto misses the shot to the body. Soto swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Soto throws a shot to the body.
Harris tries a head kick but it misses.
Soto misses with a hook. Harris ducked under it nicely. and Soto counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Harris! He's just covering up as Soto starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carlos Soto! After winning the bout, Carlos Soto thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
