Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wulfgar Schwarz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devas Tator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wulfgar Schwarz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Devas Tator!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tator comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Tator wants to slow Schwarz down by chopping away at his legs.
Schwarz is looking for a counter combo.
Tator has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Schwarz keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Schwarz takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Schwarz is looking to counter the offense by Tator and move into the clinch.
Jab by Tator.
Tator lands a nice looking body kick.
Tator stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tator wants it to stay on the feet.
Tator lets loose with a powerful body kick. Schwarz will feel that in the morning.
Schwarz takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Schwarz tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Tator manages to circle out of the way.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Schwarz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tator is fending him off so far but Schwarz persists. Nope, Tator circles away and we're back to standing.
Tator throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Schwarz wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Schwarz shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tator eats them both and turns towards Schwarz to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.


It looks like Devas Tator has been cut.

Tator feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Schwarz's calf.
Tator is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Schwarz.
Tator is looking to land body kicks.
Tator keeps Schwarz at a distance using the push kick.
Tator lands a nice looking kick to the body. Schwarz takes a step back to recover.
Schwarz moves out of range as Tator throws a body kick.
As Tator tries to get set, Schwarz tries to push him back and clinch up but Tator manages to avoid the attempt.
Tator tries to land a leg kick but Schwarz saw it coming and moves away.
Tator swings for the body but Schwarz moves out of range.
Schwarz tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Tator manages to circle out of the way.
Tator misses with a body kick.
Schwarz tries to counter by clinching up but Tator breaks away and moves out of range.
Tator tries to land a front kick but Schwarz steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Schwarz seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Devas Tator seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tator misses with a low kick as Schwarz jumps back.

Schwarz moves into the clinch.
Tator blocks an elbow strike.
Schwarz misses with an elbow strike.
Schwarz creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Schwarz just misses with a elbow thrown towards Tator's brow.
Tator lands a nice shot to the body.
Schwarz lands an elbow inside.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

With the fighters up against the cage, Schwarz throws an elbow but misses.
Tator tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Schwarz is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wulfgar Schwarz. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Schwarz is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Tator is defending well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Schwarz looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Schwarz seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Tator keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Schwarz's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Schwarz tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Tator connects with a couple of short punches.
Tator is in close to Schwarz's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Schwarz looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Tator has picked Schwarz up and slammed him! Schwarz can't keep hold of the triangle and Tator manages to pass to side control!
Schwarz is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tator connects with a nice short shot to Schwarz's temple.
Tator winds up and cracks Schwarz with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Tator is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Schwarz is looking for a sweep. Tator is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Schwarz tries to roll over but Tator keeps him under control.
Tator has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Tator seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Schwarz is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
