Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Darryl Holloway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfredo Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alfredo Stone has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Darryl Holloway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alfredo Stone!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone misses with a body kick.
It looked like Holloway was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Stone has a takedown stuffed.
Holloway was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Stone darts in and clinches Holloway up against the cage.
Stone wants to break free but Holloway has control.

Holloway's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stone lands a right hand.

Stone has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Holloway uses from the top position.

Stone will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Stone is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Holloway is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Holloway throws a big right hand that misses.
Holloway will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Stone has his hands on Holloway's head, controlling the position.
Stone bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Holloway's guard.

Stone throws an elbow that misses. Holloway uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Stone's guard. Nice move by Holloway!


Stone is working an open guard so Holloway takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Stone rushes Holloway and presses him up against the cage.

A hook to the body from Stone.

Holloway has hold of one of Stone's legs. Stone is fighting the takedown attempt but Holloway gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Stone is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Stone's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stone is on top in guard.

Holloway keeping moving, preventing Stone from controlling successfully.
Stone wants to stand but Holloway is controlling his posture from full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Stone slips nicely into half guard.
Stone trying to pass the guard but Holloway defending well.
Stone wants to control but Holloway is keeping him busy.

Stone gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Stone darts in and clinches Holloway up against the cage.
Come on Stone - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Holloway tries to keep at a distance but Stone has taken the fight into the clinch.

Holloway is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Stone to keep the fight standing.
Holloway really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Holloway is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Stone gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Stone creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Stone wants to get back to striking at distance but Holloway won't allow it.

Stone gets control of Holloway's arms and successfully pulls guard. Stone will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Holloway accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Alfredo Stone showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Stone drops down looking for an ankle pick but Holloway pulls his leg out and moves away.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Holloway tries to stand but Stone is controlling from the bottom.

Stone has his foot on Holloway's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Holloway works his way back into a safe position though.

Holloway's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Holloway tries to close the distance and clinch but Stone swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Stone throws a push kick but Holloway slaps the foot to one side.
Stone throws a head kick that misses.

Holloway is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Stone gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Holloway.
Stone lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Holloway wants a takedown but no success here.

Alfredo Stone comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Stone has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
