Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Alex Alex!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dean Matlock!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matlock tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Alex manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Alex tries to keep at a distance but Matlock has taken the fight into the clinch.
Matlock lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Matlock lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Alex or not.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Matlock takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Alex has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Matlock after a bit of a struggle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alex's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Matlock drops Alex with a big knee straight up the middle! Alex is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
It looks like Alex Alex has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Alex tries to clinch
and Matlock counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Alex is rocked!
Matlock gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Oh Alex is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alex really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Matlock working the clinch nicely. Alex is working for position but Matlock cracks him with a big knee to the head! Alex crumples up against the cage and Matlock lands two more shots before the ref can save Alex! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee & Punches). Dean Matlock!
Dean Matlock tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
