Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Donald Pierce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Some Bitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bitch has chosen Drowning Pool - Bodies as his entrance music. Donald Pierce has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bitch shoots in looking for a takedown. Pierce tries to sprawl out of it but Bitch keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pierce manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bitch misses with a double jab
and Pierce counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Pierce slips a jab and a cross from Bitch.
Bitch fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bitch misses with the combination.
Bitch tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Pierce throws a big counter combination but Bitch scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bitch throws a right and a left that both miss.

Bitch clinches up against the cage.
Bitch tries to land knees in the clinch but Pierce avoids the damage to the body.
Pierce tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Pierce's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Bitch closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Bitch gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pierce wants to improve his position but Bitch is controlling well.
Pierce misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Bitch is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Pierce has his hands clasped together around Bitch's back. He's all about the action.

Bitch tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Pierce.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bitch wants to pass to mount but Pierce is defending the position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Pierce holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Bitch misses with a head kick.
Pierce keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bitch.
Bitch has his takedown stuffed
and Pierce counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bitch should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Bitch tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pierce manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bitch misses with a double jab

and Pierce counters by moving into the clinch.

Bitch breaks the clinch.
Bitch throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bitch tries to clinch but Pierce is having none of it.
Pierce seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Bitch throws a jab when Pierce was well out of range.
Bitch fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pierce avoids it really well and circles away.
Pierce was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Donald Pierce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Some Bitch.
Bitch misses with a few strikes there.
Pierce dives in and grabs Bitch's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bitch pushes down on Pierce's head and hops out.

Pierce avoids a punch combination nicely.

Pierce pushes Bitch up against the cage in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Bitch's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Bitch gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Pierce.
Pierce on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Some Bitch dominated that round.
That's time! Pierce's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Pierce feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Pierce lands a couple of digs.
Pierce postures up and lands a big shot to Bitch's brow.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pierce accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Pierce has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Pierce postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bitch is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pierce, into his guard.

Bitch wants to get up but he can't break Pierce's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Bitch has eaten all the pies!

Bitch is looking to stand up but Pierce won't let him.
Bitch controls from within his opponent's guard.
Pierce pulls Bitch in close to prevent any damage.
Pierce wants to sweep but no luck.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Pierce has a closed guard, preventing Bitch from standing up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Bitch misses with a double jab
and Pierce counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bitch throws a right hand that Pierce ducks under and follows up with a left that Pierce also avoids with ease.
Pierce swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Bitch misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bitch shoots in for a takedown but Pierce shows good takedown defense.
Pierce really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Pierce is trying to break the clinch but Bitch is controlling him.

Pierce is working for a kimura here but Bitch manages to reverse the position and he's now in Pierce's guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Pierce holds on and takes a little breather.

Bitch has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pierce is proving hard to escape from.

Pierce pulls Bitch in close to prevent any damage.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Bitch working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Bitch wants to control from the top but Pierce keeps moving.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bitch throws a head kick that misses.
Pierce swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
A combination from Bitch does no damage.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

It looked like Pierce was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Bitch lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pierce circles away quickly and effectively.

Bitch throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pierce.

Bitch takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The fight stays on the outside here - Bitch looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pierce tries to counter by clinching up but Bitch breaks away and moves out of range.

Pierce shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bitch napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Pierce is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bitch knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Pierce thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Bitch gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Bitch is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bitch keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Pierce is working for a kimura but Bitch is defending it quite comfortably.

I would just about give that final round to Some Bitch.
