The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Chick.
Jack looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jack has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Chick.
Chick moves into range and connects with a jab.
It looks like Combat Jack has been cut.
Chick misses with an attempted mid kick.
Jack tries to clinch but Chick moves out of range.
Jack throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Jack misses with a body shot.
Chick throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jack stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
We've been informed that Chick has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Jack loads up on a big right hand but Chick slips the punch.
Jack connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Chick's hands.
Chick misses with a wild body shot.
Chick takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Chick is pushing down on Jack's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jack is fighting to maintain full guard but Chick has managed to sneak the leg through.

Andy Chick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chick goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

That was a close round but I would say that Combat Jack will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Jack with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Chick to score with a decent uppercut.

Jack's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Chick connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jack scrambles back to his feet.

Jack walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Chick checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Chick lands with an uppercut that bounces Jack off the cage and back into range.

Jack stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Chick.
Both fighters circling a little - Chick finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Chick lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Andy Chick showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Oh Jack is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Chick counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Jack out cold! What a finish! Chick is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
