Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Micheal Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Casey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor comes to the cage accompanied by I have a dream. Carl Casey has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Micheal Taylor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carl Casey! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Taylor with that takedown attempt. Casey darts in and clinches Taylor up against the cage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Casey as Taylor tries to tie him up. Casey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Taylor definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Casey fails to land the takedown. Taylor is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Casey. Casey throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Taylor fails in his attempt to clinch. Casey throws a jab when Taylor was well out of range. Taylor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Casey shoots in looking for a takedown but Taylor manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Casey's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Casey tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Taylor swivels and escapes. Micheal Taylor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carl Casey.
That's one minute gone in the round. Casey shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Taylor defends it nicely. Taylor attempts a counter takedown but Casey avoids it well and moves away. Taylor misses with a low kick.
Casey fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Taylor closes the distance and pushes Casey back into the cage. Casey has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Taylor avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Taylor manages to break the clinch.
Taylor closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Casey did well to prevent Taylor getting side control. Casey is looking to control Taylor's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Casey avoid being mounted? Casey looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taylor seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Taylor trying to mount his opponent but Casey defends it. Taylor seems to be looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taylor thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Casey blocking the ground and pound attempt from Taylor. Casey is trying to stand up here but Taylor is controlling him well. Taylor is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Taylor tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Casey. Casey wants to control but Taylor passes into side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Taylor prevents Casey from escaping the position. Taylor is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Casey's shoulder. That is not cool.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Taylor looks for a takedown but Casey sprawls well. Taylor throws a sloppy head kick and Casey moves out of range easily. Taylor is looking to clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Casey fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Taylor avoids it really well and circles away. Taylor is looking to counter the offense by Casey and move into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Micheal Taylor dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Taylor. Casey throws a sloppy head kick and Taylor moves out of range easily. Taylor clinches. Casey drags the fight down to the ground.
Casey not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Casey can't keep his opponent in guard - Taylor advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Taylor in particular looking to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Taylor wants to lay and pray for a moment but Casey keeps working. Casey is looking to improve his position.
Casey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Taylor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Taylor is looking for a kimura but Casey is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Taylor to get the leverage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Casey slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Taylor wants to stand but Casey has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Taylor wants to pass the guard but Casey is keeping the position. Taylor scoring with punches to the head and body. Taylor really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Taylor stays in close to Casey's body and controls the position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Taylor cracks Casey with a solid left hand. Taylor trying to control the position from guard on top but Casey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. A momentary lapse in concentration from Taylor enables Casey to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Taylor manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taylor working for a triangle but Casey defends it easily.
Taylor is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Casey can do to turn this around? Taylor manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Casey manages to get himself to full guard.
Casey is trying to control the position but Taylor postures up. Taylor lands a couple of digs. Casey looking for a sweep. Not yet Casey, not yet. Taylor throws a big right hand that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Taylor looking to pass the guard. Taylor trying to control but Casey is working from the bottom. Casey looking to control but Taylor passes into half guard.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Casey wants to improve his position but Taylor is controlling well.

Taylor defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Casey. Taylor looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Casey is fending him off so far but Taylor persists. Nope, Casey circles away and we're back to standing. Casey misses with a takedown attempt and Taylor counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Taylor jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Casey walks away with a smile on his face. Taylor gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Taylor tries to clinch there but Casey circles away.
Casey steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Taylor. Taylor tries to close the distance and clinch up but Casey swats him away and circles back towards the center. Taylor tries to sprawl but Casey drives through with a takedown into half guard. It looks like Casey is going to stand back up.

Casey trying to advance position but Taylor counters by regaining guard. Micheal Taylor overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Casey looking to pass the guard. Taylor bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Casey's guard.
Casey is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Casey takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Casey has a closed guard, preventing Taylor from standing up. Casey trying to strike off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Taylor is stalling in the full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Casey has a takedown stuffed. Micheal Taylor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carl Casey. No luck for Taylor with that takedown attempt. Casey misses with a takedown attempt - Taylor sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Taylor is looking for a counter combo.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taylor tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Casey swivels and escapes. Taylor slaps away a takedown attempt from Casey, before circling back to the center of the mat. An attempted straight right counter from Taylor misses the target. Taylor fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Casey sprawls well initially but Taylor persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Taylor with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Taylor is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Casey doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Taylor. Casey is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Taylor pulls his head out easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Taylor sitting and controlling from the half guard. Taylor tries to stand but can't do so whilst Casey controls his leg.
And that's the end of the fight! Micheal Taylor showed his dominance in that final round. Well Taylor has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
