Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ejup Ramadani! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Edward Kenway! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kenway throws a push kick but Ramadani slaps the foot to one side. Ramadani rushes Kenway and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kenway tries to throw a body punch but Ramadani avoids it by throwing Kenway back against the cage. Ramadani breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kenway thuds his right hand into Ramadani's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Kenway connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Kenway throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ramadani on the side of the head. Kenway explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Kenway looks to land a right hand but Ramadani moved out of range. Ramadani throws a leg kick and Kenway counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Ramadani throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kenway blocks it with crossed arms. A frustrated look appears on Ramadani's face as he tries to break the clinch. Ramadani breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kenway throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Ramadani throws a jab when Kenway was well out of range. Kenway connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A low kick from Ramadani misses and Kenway counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Kenway moves away from the strike by Ramadani.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kenway walks into a stiff left hand from Ramadani. Kenway lands a really nice looking cross but Ramadani seems unphased.
Ramadani connects with an inside leg kick. A slapping leg kick lands for Kenway.
Ramadani tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. As Ramadani backs off Kenway throws a huge counter combo but Ramadani manages to avoid it all. Kenway fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ramadani was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Ramadani takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Kenway lunges at Ramadani with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ramadani's hand. Kenway moves out of range of the strikes. Kenway on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Ramadani pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ramadani slips under a jab. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kenway.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ramadani has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ramadani is trying to push Kenway away but Kenway has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Ramadani manages to break the clinch.
Ramadani throws a leg kick letting Kenway counter with a right hand. Kenway keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ramadani. Kenway has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Kenway tries to move into range but Ramadani moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Nice jab there from Ramadani. Kenway throws a body kick that misses. Kenway takes a jab right on the kisser.
Kenway uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ramadani. Ramadani with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kenway lands a jab. Kenway gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ramadani. Ramadani lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kenway backs up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Good leg kick by Kenway there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Ramadani wants to clinch but Kenway slips to the side and Kenway cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Ramadani clobbers Kenway with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Ramadani avoids a kick to the body.
Kenway swings for the body but Ramadani moves out of range.
A head kick misses from Ramadani. A little jabbing left from Kenway on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Ramadani rushes Kenway and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Ramadani blocks an uppercut.
Kenway lands with a short shot to the head. Ramadani wants to get back to striking at distance but Kenway won't allow it.
Kenway softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Ramadani's face as he tries to break the clinch. Ramadani looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Kenway throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Kenway tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Ramadani's elbow. Kenway tries a body shot but Ramadani blocks it.
Kenway takes an elbow to the forehead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ramadani blocks an uppercut.
Ramadani wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Kenway has Ramadani pressed against the cage, preventing Ramadani from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Ramadani is trying to break the clinch but Kenway has him pressed against the cage. Ramadani lands an elbow inside. Kenway lands with a light punch inside. Kenway misses with a punch to the body.

Kenway keeps control of Ramadani as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kenway doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Kenway lands a shoulder strike. Ramadani wants to break the clinch but can't.

Ramadani is rocked! Ramadani wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Ramadani misses with an elbow over the top. Ramadani is trying to push Kenway away but Kenway has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kenway lands a body shot in the clinch.
A short left from Kenway. Oh Ramadani is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kenway tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Ramadani seems to have got his legs back now. Ramadani is trying to break the clinch but Kenway is controlling him. Ramadani's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Edward Kenway will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Ramadani loads up on a big right hand but Kenway slips the punch. The crowd cheers as Ramadani lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kenway doesn't seem phased though. Kenway has closed the distance and engaged Ramadani in a clinch.

Edward Kenway seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Kenway misses with a punch on the inside.

Ramadani escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A looping hook to the body misses from Kenway. Ramadani does a little dance to reset his feet. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Kenway in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Ramadani throws a hook but Kenway avoids it easily. Ramadani throws a head kick that Kenway semi-blocks.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kenway lands a nice looking body shot.

Ramadani with a jab. Kenway swats away the attempt to clinch by Ramadani. Kenway replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Ramadani blocks it well. Ramadani misses with a straight left. Ramadani uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kenway.

and Kenway connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kenway avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

letting Kenway counter with a right hand. Ramadani walks into a straight right hand from Kenway. Kenway throws out a loose jab but Ramadani uses good head movement to avoid it. Ramadani avoids the body shot from Kenway.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kenway looks to land a combination but Ramadani avoids it well. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kenway throws a head kick but Ramadani moves out of range.

Kenway only half commits to the counter leg kick. No joy there for Ramadani, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kenway throws out a counter right but Ramadani avoids it with no problem. Ejup Ramadani seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kenway throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Edward Kenway seems to be getting the better of the standup. Ramadani connects with a looping right hand.
Ramadani lands with a kick to the temple. Kenway shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Kenway scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Kenway waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ramadani. Ramadani misses with the body kick and Kenway counters with a nice uppercut. Ramadani lands an overhand right. Kenway dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ramadani. That did some damage! Kenway gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Kenway throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ramadani was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Kenway avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Kenway lands with a kick to the temple. Ramadani shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Ramadani throws a right and a left that both miss. Ramadani throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Kenway now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Kenway comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Kenway swings widly with a right hand
and Ramadani counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Ramadani uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kenway. Kenway staying out of range there. Kenway let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Kenway digs a good body shot into Ramadani's ribs. Kenway closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Ramadani pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kenway clinches up with Ramadani and pushes him back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kenway swings wildly with an uppercut but Ramadani uses good head movement to avoid it. Ramadani tries to break free but Kenway pushes him back against the cage. Ramadani throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
With the fighters up against the cage, Ramadani throws an elbow but misses. Kenway lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ramadani backwards. Kenway lands with a right to the head. Kenway scores with a nice hook to the head. Ramadani stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Edward Kenway showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

As Kenway looks to move away, Ramadani throws a big counter combo bu Kenway just gets out of the way. Ramadani takes the fight into the clinch. Kenway makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Ramadani tries to break the clinch but Kenway is controlling the position. A shot in the inside from Kenway. Kenway lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Ramadani. Kenway tries to throw a body punch but Ramadani avoids it by throwing Kenway back against the cage. Kenway lands a body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A short right from Kenway. Kenway creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Ramadani's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Ramadani drops to his knees and Kenway pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
