Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jonni Saastala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conor McCracken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saastala comes into the arena with Nyrkillä naamaan - Look at your ugly mug from mirror. blaring out of the sound system. McCracken has chosen Rebels Song - Come out and Fight as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jonni Saastala!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor McCracken!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saastala scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Saastala has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
McCracken is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
McCracken avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
McCracken misses with a shot to the body
and Saastala counters with a stiff right hand.

McCracken closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
McCracken lands a few punches from side control.
McCracken working the head and body with strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McCracken throwing shots but missing, from side control.

McCracken looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Saastala wants to control but McCracken postures up.
Saastala tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McCracken wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
McCracken working the ground and pound from side control.
McCracken tries to advance to mount but Saastala denies him.

McCracken tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McCracken trying to control the action but Saastala is working from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McCracken advances nicely into full mount.
Saastala is working to get back to half guard.
McCracken looking to control and managing it successfully.
McCracken landing shots from mount.
McCracken lands a couple of good shots and Saastala has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

McCracken working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Saastala is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and McCracken has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Saastala taps out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Conor McCracken!
A very excited looking Conor McCracken made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
