Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sly Randolph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter McBain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McBain comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Harder Than You Think by Public Enemy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Peter McBain will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 20 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Peter McBain!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McBain thuds his right hand into Randolph's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Randolph misses with a low kick.

McBain closes the distance and lands a one-two.
McBain throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Randolph.
McBain connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
McBain throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Randolph half committed to a counter leg kick.
McBain lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
McBain throws an overhand right that lands on Randolph's shoulder, as Randolph tries to avoid the shot.

As Randolph backs off McBain throws a huge counter combo but Randolph manages to avoid it all.

McBain is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McBain's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and McBain duly obliges.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

McBain lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Randolph circles away quickly and effectively.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peter McBain dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Peter McBain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Randolph throws an uppercut from hell that sends McBain clean off his feet! He's out cold! Randolph stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
