Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dominic Fortune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viavao Kaho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaho has chosen Joey B - Tonga (Feat. Sarkodie) as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dominic Fortune! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Viavao Kaho! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fortune misses with a two punch combination.
Kaho has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Fortune is landing a low percentage of strikes. Kaho on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Kaho misses with a takedown attempt - Fortune sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kaho dives in and grabs Fortune's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fortune pushes down on Kaho's head and hops out. Fortune lands a nice hook to Kaho's body. Kaho takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Fortune connects with a nice looking jab.
Kaho shoots in but Fortune avoids the takedown attempt easily. Dominic Fortune has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Viavao Kaho. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fortune jabs Kaho to the body, keeping him at a distance. Kaho has his takedown stuffed and Fortune counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaho shoots in for a double leg but Fortune sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. We've been told by Fortune's head coaches at Slaughterhouse - LOD that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Kaho looks up at the clock. Bad move! Fortune lands a right hand from hell, dropping Kaho. Fortune pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dominic Fortune!
