Smith comes to the cage accompanied by MGK - Wild Boy ft. Waka Flocka Flame. Nogg has chosen Pantera : 5 Minutes Alone as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Nogg avoids a kick to the body.
Smith looks to land a combination but Nogg avoids it well.
Smith misses with a two punch combination.
We've been hearing reports that Smith has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Nogg ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Nogg has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Nogg on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Smith connects with a nice looking jab.
Nogg will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Smith swings for the body but Nogg moves out of range.

Smith takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Nogg is looking to escape.
Smith is keen to just control but Nogg is a slippery customer.
Smith slips a nice elbow through Nogg's hands, connecting with Nogg's forehead.
