Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cristiano Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ellis Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knight has chosen You Know It as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Cristiano Cruz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ellis Knight! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cruz misses with a hook. Knight ducked under it nicely. A slow jab from Cruz misses its intended target. Cruz has been working on his boxing with his coaches at NACF KT Pitbull Academy in the buildup to the fight. Cruz tries to keep at a distance but Knight has taken the fight into the clinch. A head punch on the inside from Cruz fails to land. Knight works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Knight working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cruz's head. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Knight accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Cruz being controlled here, momentarily. Knight is in close to Cruz's body, working some short punches and elbows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knight slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Cruz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Knight postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Knight advances to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cruz looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Knight has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Knight seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Cruz slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Knight controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Cruz is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Knight is aware though and is defending well. Cruz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Knight can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Knight is working Cruz over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Knight controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Knight postures up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Knight controlling from the top position. Knight chips away with some ground and pound. Knight landing with the ground and pound. Cruz has momentary wrist control but Knight slips an elbow through the middle. Knight controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Knight lands a couple of elbows.
