The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hammond gets the takedown into side control.
Uvarov is looking for a sweep.
You can see the frustration on Uvarov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Uvarov being controlled for a moment.
Uvarov gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hammond in particular looking to stall.
Uvarov tries to get to full guard but Hammond has control of the leg.

Hammond could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Uvarov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hammond doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Uvarov is tightening it up a little... Hammond has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Hammond reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Hammond taps out! Nice BJJ there by Uvarov!
