And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tandelov misses with a straight right.
Kim lands a nice looking body shot.
Tandelov waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kim.
Kim appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Tandelov darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kim.
Kim misses with the combination.
Kim misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tandelov.
Nice uppercut there from Tandelov.
Kim dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tandelov. That did some damage!
Kim walks into a stiff left hand from Tandelov.
Kim has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kim misses with a straight left.
Kim connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Tandelov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kim.

Tandelov misses with an uppercut.
Tandelov throws a hook to the side of Kim's head but Kim sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tandelov swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kim makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Tandelov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kim misses the shot to the body.
A jab from Tandelov misses.
Tandelov takes one on the button.
Kim tried to score with a low kick but Tandelov checks it.

and Kim makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Tandelov really felt that one!

Tandelov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Tandelov takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Kim tries to work over Tandelov's front leg with a kick but Tandelov checks it.
Good shot there by Kim.
Tandelov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kim pinned against the ropes. Kim gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A quick step to the side and Kim tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tandelov needs to keep his hands up - Kim had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Marat Tandelov has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tandelov connects with a right hand. Kim shakes it off.
Kim steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tandelov.
Tandelov missing with a left hand there. Kim was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kim scores with a kick to the body.
Tandelov shoots for a takedown but Kim saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Tandelov on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kim. Kim obviously looking to wear him down.
Kim goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Tandelov scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Tandelov is thwarting Kim's attempts to control the position.

Kim has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Tandelov. Oh but Kim has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Tandelov goes limp - he's gone! Kim jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jong Un Kim!
