Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Craig Jordaan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Koya Molar! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Molar swings widly with a right hand
and Jordaan moves into the clinch. Jordaan manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Molar scores with a nice hook to the head. Jordaan looks to throw an elbow but misses. The referee is keeping an eye on Jordaan - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Molar misses with a short punch on the inside. Jordaan has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Molar after a bit of a struggle. Molar throws a head punch that misses. Jordaan tries for a takedown but Molar manages to get underhooks.
Jordaan is breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jordaan tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Molar just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Craig Jordaan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jordaan blocks an uppercut.

Molar is looking to break free of the clinch but Jordaan has double underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Molar tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jordaan's elbow. Molar misses with the head strike.
Molar is trying to maintain a safe position but Jordaan gets an underhook and turns Molar into the cage. Jordaan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Molar fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Molar tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Molar swings wildly with an uppercut but Jordaan uses good head movement to avoid it. Jordaan prevents Molar from breaking the clinch. Jordaan jumps guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Molar controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Molar stands up from Jordaan's guard - Molar perhaps looking for a knockout. Molar takes a swing at Jordaan's ribcage but misses. Molar feints with a jab and clips Jordaan right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Jordaan is sent crashing into the canvas and Molar leaps in for the kill! Jordaan tries to get to his feet but Molar is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Jordaan is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Koya Molar! Koya Molar decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
