Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 47 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Jin Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Christian Hackenburg!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hackenburg lands with a kick to the temple. Kim shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Kim shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hackenburg but Hackenburg pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kim tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hackenburg defends well and Kim ends up having to push Hackenburg into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jin Kim. That's going to take a lot out of him.

I was talking to Kim's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Hackenburg just misses with a elbow thrown towards Kim's brow.

Well Hackenburg has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
