Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mathew The Devil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramon Revilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramon Revilla will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mathew The Devil!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ramon Revilla!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from The Devil misses.
Revilla fails to land the takedown.
The Devil drops down looking for a counter takedown but Revilla sprawls and moves away.

The Devil shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. The Devil showed some decent athleticism there.

Revilla kicks off The Devil and gets to his feet.
Revilla fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
The Devil shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Revilla defends it nicely.
The Devil works Revilla's body with a nice hook.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Revilla is defended easily by The Devil.
Revilla closes the distance and clinches up with The Devil, looking for a takedown. Revilla pushes The Devil against the cage but The Devil circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Revilla sneaks out the side door and pushes The Devil away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

We've been informed that Revilla has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Revilla must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The Devil escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Revilla gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Revilla drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and The Devil dives on top into guard.

Revilla throws an elbow that misses. The Devil uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Revilla's guard. Nice move by The Devil!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The Devil not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and The Devil counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Revilla!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

The Devil takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Ramon Revilla has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
