Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Julian Taheil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chiun Remo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chiun Remo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Taheil. Remo does a little dance to reset his feet.

Taheil looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Remo has picked Taheil up and slammed him! Taheil can't keep hold of the triangle and Remo manages to pass to side control!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Taheil looking to break Remo's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Remo remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Taheil will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Taheil is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Remo knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Remo for a finish.

Remo manages to reverse the position and now he's in Taheil's guard. Nice work there by Remo.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Taheil has his foot on Remo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Remo works his way back into a safe position though.
Remo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Taheil. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Taheil has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Remo should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Taheil has tightened it up now! Remo should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
