And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ezekiel gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Weffart really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Weffart controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Weffart decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Weffart. Ezekiel shrugs it off though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Weffart throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ezekiel tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Weffart is in Ezekiel's guard.
Weffart stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Weffart pushing down on Ezekiel's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Weffart content to control rather than advance.
Weffart seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Weffart decides to stand and escape the position.
Ezekiel gets caught flat footed, as Weffart shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Weffart is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Weffart passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Ezekiel wants to control but Weffart postures up.
Weffart decides to stand back up. Weffart steps back and let's Ezekiel get back to his feet.
Weffart scores with a head kick. Ezekiel tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Weffart scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Weffart is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Saint Ezekiel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Weffart shoots in and bounces Ezekiel off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Ezekiel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Weffart. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Weffart's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Weffart lands a couple of elbows.
Weffart has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Weffart is pushing down on Ezekiel's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ezekiel is fighting to maintain full guard but Weffart has managed to sneak the leg through.
Weffart lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Weffart seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Ezekiel is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
