Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lamont Chase!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryo Sawamura!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase moves into range and clinches up with Sawamura.
Sawamura can't get the takedown.
Chase breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Chase throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And Sawamura tries to counter it with a takedown but Chase pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Chase swings widly with a right hand
and Sawamura counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sawamura.

Sawamura drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Chase dives on top into guard.
Sawamura escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chase gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chase wants to get up but he can't break Sawamura's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sawamura utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Chase tries to stand but Sawamura is controlling from the bottom.
Sawamura looking for a triangle here. Chase is fighting it but it looks tight! Sawamura pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Chase is tapping out - this one is all over!
