Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Dixie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Johnny Dixie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, David Bell! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dixie scores with a shot to the body.
Bell fails with a takedown attempt. Dixie appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Dixie jabs at Bell's body. Bell takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Dixie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bell feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Dixie pushes Bell off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Dixie closes the distance and pushes Bell back into the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bell throws a punch but it's blocked by Dixie. Dixie trying to stall but Bell improves his position.
Dixie comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Dixie lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Bell tries to pull guard but Dixie won't allow it.
Bell prevents a body shot from Dixie. Dixie avoiding damage as Bell throws knees to the body.
Bell has Dixie pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dixie manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Bell looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Johnny Dixie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Bell.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dixie gets control of Bell's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dixie will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Bell is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Bell is working Dixie over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dixie is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dixie has his foot on Bell's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bell works his way back into a safe position though. Dixie looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bell has picked Dixie up and slammed him! Dixie can't keep hold of the triangle and Bell manages to pass to side control! Dixie is breathing heavily. Bell goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Dixie rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bell's guard! Nice work there by Dixie! Dixie connects with a couple of short punches. Bell working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dixie. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dixie postures up in Bell's guard and throws a big left but Bell blocks it. Bell wants to sweep but no luck.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bell lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Bell connects with a couple of short punches. Bell advances position into side control! Bell scoring with punches from side control. Bell trying to control the position but Dixie is working away. Dixie is working to avoid the ground and pound but Bell connects with a decent elbow. Bell is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Bell working the body and head with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bell is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dixie knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. A lull in the action here as Bell stalls from top position. Bell scores with punches from side control. Bell landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Bell working the head and body with strikes. Bell lands an elbow. Bell lands an elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bell creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Bell lands a decent elbow from side control. Dixie is trying to escape the position but Bell is controlling the position. Dixie is working to avoid the ground and pound but Bell connects with a decent elbow. Dixie is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Check out the look on Bell's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bell has knee on belly and moves into mount. Bell working away from the top, dropping strikes. Bell fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Dixie is rocked! Bell loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Dixie scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Bell land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Bell stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Bell!
