Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Temudjin Khaan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dre Still (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Still has chosen Krayzie Bone - Silent Warrior as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Temudjin Khaan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dre Still!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khaan misses with a low kick as Still jumps back.
Khaan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Still.
Still dives in and grabs Khaan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Khaan pushes down on Still's head and hops out.
Still throws a jab but it's blocked by Khaan.
Dre Still seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Still takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A looping hook to the body misses from Khaan. Still does a little dance to reset his feet.
And Still tries to counter it with a takedown but Khaan pushes his down on his head and steps out.
We've been told by Khaan's head coaches at Sun Tzu's Art of War that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Khaan misses with a wild body shot.
Still avoids the head kick by Khaan.
Khaan wants to land a leg kick but Still is out of range.
Khaan lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Still on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Still comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Khaan tries to score with a low kick but Still moves his leg out of the way.
Khaan thuds his shin into the meat of Still's side.

Still scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Khaan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Still crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Khaan - the referee stops the clock and Still gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Khaan. Still manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
A bone on bone clash there as Still blocks the leg kick.
Temudjin Khaan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Khaan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Still.
Khaan misses with an attempted mid kick.
Still changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

so Still counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Still tries to free his leg and advance position but Khaan is retaining full guard.
Khaan has his hands on Still's head, controlling the position.
Still trying to control the position from guard on top but Khaan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Khaan is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Still postures up and lands a big shot to Khaan's brow.
Khaan is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Still controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Still trying to control but Khaan is working from the bottom.
Khaan wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Still trying to control the position from guard on top but Khaan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Khaan is trying to keep Still in close.

Khaan pulls Still in close to prevent any damage.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Still engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Still takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Still listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Still shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Khaan looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Still lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Khaan looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Khaan throws an overhand right that lands on Still's shoulder, as Still tries to avoid the shot.
Still looks for the body kick but Khaan saw that one coming.

Still throws out a loose jab but Khaan uses good head movement to avoid it.
Khaan throws a low kick but Still avoids it.
Khaan fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Khaan keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Khaan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Still drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Khaan defends it well.

Khaan gets caught flat footed, as Still shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Khaan trying to keep a closed guard but Still is proving a slippery customer.
Khaan is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Still is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Still wants to pass the guard but Khaan is keeping the position.
Still lands a couple of digs.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Still trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dre Still will probably get the nod.
That's time! Khaan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Still, as that shot connected.
Still bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Khaan's head backwards.
A jab from Khaan finds it's way through Still's defenses.
Khaan uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Khaan throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Khaan misses with a body kick.
Still takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Still looks for a takedown but Khaan sprawls well.

Khaan slips a straight right by Still.

Khaan misses with an attempted mid kick.

Still trying to control the position from guard on top but Khaan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Still has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Khaan was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Jab, jab by Still - just one landing.

Still scores with a crisp jab that stopped Khaan in his tracks.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A close second round but Dre Still will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

The fighters circle momentarily. Still darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Still keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Temudjin Khaan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Khaan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Khaan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Khaan keeping moving, preventing Still from controlling successfully.
Khaan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Still throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Khaan works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Khaan seems keen to control Still's posture.
Khaan has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Khaan ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Khaan walks into a stiff left hand from Still.
A nice inside leg kick there by Khaan. That's going to slow Still down.
Khaan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Khaan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Still doesn't seem bothered though.

Khaan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Dre Still comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Still winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Dre Still rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
