Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryo Yoshida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin has chosen Get Low as his entrance music. Peter Griffin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryo Yoshida! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Griffin! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Griffin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Griffin swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Griffin stuffs the takedown. Sloppy strikes from Griffin. Those never looked like landing. Yoshida fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryo Yoshida. That's going to take a lot out of him. Griffin scores with the left hand. Yoshida knows he should have avoided that one. Yoshida takes the fight into the clinch. Griffin is defending well against a takedown attempt. Griffin is trying to force a seperation but Yoshida has the dominant position. Yoshida gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Griffin manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Yoshida keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Griffin is defending well against a takedown attempt. Yoshida goes for a takedown in the clinch but Griffin prevents it.
Griffin breaks the clinch.
Griffin lands a jab to the head.
No joy there for Griffin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Griffin lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Griffin looks to land a combination. Yoshida sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Griffin throws a series of punches but Yoshida moves out of range. Yoshida looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Griffin is fending him off so far but Yoshida persists. Nope, Griffin circles away and we're back to standing. Yoshida throws a body punch but Griffin moves out of range. Griffin lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Yoshida shoots and misses and Yoshida takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A combination from Griffin does no damage. Griffin lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Griffin.
Yoshida is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Griffin closes the distance and lands a one-two. Oh Yoshida is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Yoshida looks up at the clock. Bad move! Griffin lands a right hand from hell, dropping Yoshida. Griffin pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Griffin! Peter Griffin decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
