Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hugo Hudson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brick Smashem!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hudson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Smashem has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Hudson is on him like a limpet, forcing Smashem back against the cage.
Smashem lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hudson backwards.
Hudson tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Smashem avoids it.
Smashem wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hudson has him pressed against the cage.

Hudson jumps guard but Smashem turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Smashem.
Hudson blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Hudson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Smashem just stands there and leans against the cage.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Smashem pushes Hudson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smashem scores with a shot to the side of Hudson's head.
Hudson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hudson fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hugo Hudson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smashem misses with a jab, cross combination.
Smashem falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hudson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Smashem breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Smashem plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Hudson to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Hudson just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Brick Smashem!
In his post fight interview, Brick Smashem gave a big smile as he said 'Easy as pie'.
