Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joey Mandana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bo Hicks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bo Hicks!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hicks closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Mandana can't get the takedown.
Mandana gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hicks.
Hicks tries to pull guard but Mandana holds him up against the cage and eventually Hicks drops back down to his feet.
Mandana is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Mandana gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Mandana is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hicks should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Mandana perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hicks is trying to get back to full guard.
Hicks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mandana. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mandana working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Hicks turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Mandana off and cradles Hicks's limp body as Mandana celebrates with his corner.
