The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackwood fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rosing, pushing him back against the cage.
Rosing tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Blackwood's elbow.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Blackwood escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Blackwood fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Rosing takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Blackwood scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rosing doesn't seem bothered though.
Blackwood moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Rosing goes down! Can Blackwood finish him!?
Rosing is rocked!
It looks like Rikard Rosing has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rosing is still in real trouble! Can Blackwood finish him?
Blackwood stands and steps away. Rosing gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Blackwood finds Rosing's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Rosing flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Blackwood lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Rosing will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alistair Blackwood!
Alistair Blackwood took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
