And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyco instigates a clinch.
Silva goes for a takedown in the clinch but Tyco prevents it.
Silva wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tyco has him pressed against the cage.
Silva tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Tyco breaks from the clinch.
Tyco avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Silva doesn't manage to clinch there - Tyco circles away.
Tyco with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Tyco misses with a double jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tyco shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Silva as he jumps to the side.
Silva clinches but Tyco breaks the clinch
and Tyco counters with a single leg into guard. Silva didn't expect that.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tyco is looking for a kimura but Silva is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tyco to get the leverage.

Tyco is pressing down on Silva's thigh, looking to free his foot. Silva is holding on for now.
Tyco is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Silva defends it well.
Silva is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Tyco pulls his head out easily.

Tyco seems to be looking for submissions.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Tyco in particular looking to stall.

Tyco seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Silva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Tyco is thwarting Silva's attempts to control the position.
Tyco wants to free his trapped foot but Silva is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Silva moves into full guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Tyco's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Tyco keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Silva's head.

Tyco gets to his feet. Silva looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Silva clinches but Tyco breaks the clinch
and Tyco counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Silva's guard now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tyco closes the distance looking for a takedown. Tyco picks Silva up and slams him brutally to the floor. Silva is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!
