The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowdrie misses with a hook to the body
and Ferreira counters with an inside leg kick.
Bowdrie throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ferreira sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ferreira throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Bowdrie has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Broken Halo Vegas in the buildup to the fight.
Bowdrie throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ferreira's head.
It looks like Leonardo Ferreira has been cut.
Ferreira throws out a loose jab but Bowdrie uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ferreira on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Ferreira lands with a good body shot.
Bowdrie fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ferreira manages to avoid it.
Ferreira lets loose with a powerful body kick. Bowdrie will feel that in the morning.

Ferreira throws out a counter right but Bowdrie avoids it with no problem.
Bowdrie attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Ferreira thumps Bowdrie with a low kick.

Bowdrie fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ferreira throws a head kick but Bowdrie moves out of range.
Ferreira feints and then cracks Bowdrie's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bowdrie down.
Bowdrie looks to land a body kick but Ferreira moved away.
Ferreira misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bowdrie.
Ferreira lands a jab to the head.

Ferreira pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bowdrie swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Ferreira uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
It looks like Chick Bowdrie has been cut.
A chopping leg kick lands by Bowdrie.
Ferreira blocks a low kick nicely.
Bowdrie throws a push kick but Ferreira slaps the foot to one side.
Bowdrie keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ferreira connects with a body shot that sends Bowdrie's belly button to the back.
Bowdrie on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Bowdrie is breathing heavily.
Bowdrie takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Bowdrie swings for the body but Ferreira moves out of range.
Ferreira looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Bowdrie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Ferreira throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bowdrie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ferreira lands a big uppercut and Bowdrie crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bowdrie looks OK. Ferreira waves Bowdrie back to his feet!
Ferreira pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ferreira connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Bowdrie out cold! This one is over in a flash!

A relieved looking Leonardo Ferreira thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
