Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Socool closes the distance and pushes Valenzuela back into the cage.

Socool closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Valenzuela kicks Socool off and gets back to his feet.
Valenzuela dives in and grabs Socool's left leg, looking for a takedown. Socool pushes down on Valenzuela's head and hops out.

Valenzuela tries to close the distance and clinch but Socool swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mickey Valenzuela will probably get the nod.

Socool looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Valenzuela is fending him off so far but Socool persists. Nope, Valenzuela circles away and we're back to standing.
Valenzuela stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Socool.
Valenzuela closes the distance and clinches up with Socool, looking for a takedown. Valenzuela pushes Socool against the cage but Socool circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Socool will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
And Valenzuela counters with a quick kick to the body but Socool blocks it.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Socool takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Valenzuela lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Socool backwards.

I would just about give that final round to Johnny Socool.
Well Socool has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
