Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aigars Senko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Senko has chosen will.i.am T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Donnie Jackson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Aigars Senko's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donnie Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aigars Senko!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Senko staying out of range there.
Jackson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Senko tries to land a front kick but Jackson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Jackson drops down looking for a counter takedown but Senko sprawls and moves away.
Jackson slips a jab and a cross from Senko.
Senko throws a jab but it's blocked by Jackson.
Senko swats away the attempt to clinch by Jackson.
Senko looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Jackson moves into the clinch successfully.
Jackson prevents a body shot from Senko.
Jackson has been working on his balance at UHK, Inc., so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Senko.
Jackson misses with a short punch on the inside.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackson lands a right hand.

Senko breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jackson dodges the punch combination from Senko.
Jackson looks to score with a jab to the body but Senko is just out of range.

Nice takedown defense from Jackson. No joy for Senko on that attempt.

Jackson gets tackled into the cage by Senko. Senko maintains the clinch.
Jackson lands a shoulder strike.
Jackson misses with a hook from the clinch.
Senko is looking to control Jackson's arms but Jackson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Senko has his back to the cage.
Jackson misses with the head strike.
With the fighters up against the cage, Jackson throws an elbow but misses.
Senko fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Jackson can't find room to land a body shot as Senko controls the action.
Jackson tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Jackson tries to work over Senko's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Jackson struggles to land a body shot inside as Senko controls his hands.

Jackson has hold of one of Senko's legs. Senko is fighting the takedown attempt but Jackson gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Senko has his feet on Jackson's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Senko comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jackson throws a solid leg kick but Senko takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Jackson.
Jackson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Senko blocks a head kick by Jackson.
Jackson throws a jab but it's blocked by Senko.
Senko looks to throw the jab but Jackson is out of range.

Senko shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jackson is trying to defend but Senko finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Jackson wants to stand back up but Senko manages to pass into side control.

Senko wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jackson, who protects the arm well.
Jackson is looking to reverse the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Senko goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jackson has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Senko but great work by Jackson.
Senko can't do much from the bottom here.
Senko looking for a sweep but Jackson has passed into full mount! Oh no!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Senko is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson trying to control but Senko is having none of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Senko tries to lock up and control but Jackson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Senko sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Senko is trying to control but can't.

Senko keeps control of the position for the meantime.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Donnie Jackson dominated that round.
That's time! Jackson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Jackson looks to land a combination but Senko avoids it well.
Senko throws a head kick that misses.
Senko scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Senko shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jackson swats away the attempt to clinch by Senko.
A punch combination from Senko misses.

Jackson lands a big head kick that sends Senko tumbling to the mat! Jackson takes a step backwards and waves Senko back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Senko is rocked!


It looks like Aigars Senko has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Senko tries to clinch up.
Senko is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him?
Jackson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jackson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Senko avoids it really well and circles away.
Jackson throws a push kick but Senko slaps the foot to one side.
Jackson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Senko now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Jackson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Jackson lands a big head kick that sends Senko to the canvas! Jackson follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Donnie Jackson!
A very excited looking Donnie Jackson made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
