And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jean Ben Faur !
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ben Faur scores with a one two! The Beast had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.


It looks like Kevin The Beast has been cut.
The Beast could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The Beast closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ben Faur circles away.
Ben Faur fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt The Beast.

Ben Faur changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The Beast looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The Beast is trying to get back to half guard.
The Beast wants to control but Ben Faur postures up.
The Beast tries to bench press Ben Faur off him but Ben Faur keeps the position.
The Beast is working hard here to advance position.
Ben Faur lands some shots froms side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The Beast tries to improve position but can't.

Ben Faur stands up.

Ben Faur gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Ben Faur breaks from the clinch.
Ben Faur is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ben Faur throws a series of punches but The Beast moves out of range.
The Beast feinted with a counter takedown.

Ben Faur closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. The Beast did well to prevent Ben Faur getting side control.
The Beast keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The Beast is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ben Faur pulls his head out easily.
The Beast might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The Beast looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Ben Faur landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Ben Faur is working for a kimura but The Beast is defending it quite comfortably.
Ben Faur looks winded!

The Beast is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ben Faur pulls his head out easily.
Ben Faur really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The Beast. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fighters are battling for position here. The Beast manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Ben Faur is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but The Beast has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Ben Faur is looking to defend but The Beast has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Ben Faur ! The Beast pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Ben Faur taps out and this one is all over!
