Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Liyak Rhust (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tobias Wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wall has chosen We Ready- Archie Eversole as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Liyak Rhust! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Tobias Wall! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Ben Watson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wall lands with a nice combination. Rhust backs away looking to recover. Rhust tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Wall defends well and Rhust ends up having to push Wall into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Wall with a lazy takedown attempt and Rhust counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wall won't be happy with that. Rhust taking a break here but Wall is having none of it and regains half guard. Wall keeping hold of Rhust's head, controlling as best he can. Wall is continuing to stall. Rhust throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Wall avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rhust. We've been hearing good reports from Rhust's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Rhust with the ground and pound but Wall uses the opportunity to regain guard. Wall is adopting a defensive guard. Rhust trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wall is pulling down on Rhust's head. It's preventing any offense from Rhust, at least for the moment. Wall is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Rhust wants to control from the top but Wall keeps moving. Wall is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Rhust in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Wall wants to sweep here but Rhust controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Rhust throws an elbow that misses. Wall uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rhust's guard. Nice move by Wall! Rhust has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Wall has passed into side control.
Wall decides to stand back up. Wall clinches up with Rhust and pushes him back against the cage. Wall breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A slow jab from Rhust misses its intended target. Wall throws a looping overhand right but Rhust ducks down to avoid it. A cross from Rhust lands. Rhust misses with a takedown attempt - Wall sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Rhust misses with an uppercut. Wall fails to land with a series of punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wall uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rhust.
Wall misses with a wild combination.
Rhust closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Wall bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Wall stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Liyak Rhust. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rhust throws a looping overhand right but Wall ducks down to avoid it. The fighters circle momentarily. Wall darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Nice jab there from Rhust. Some wild striking there from Rhust.
Wall slips under a jab. Rhust scores with a nice strike. Wall looks to land a right hand but Rhust moved out of range. Rhust listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wall throws a series of punches but Rhust moves out of range. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wall avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Nice jab there from Wall. Rhust just misses with a punch to the body.
Rhust swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Wall. Rhust misses with a looping left. Rhust throws a looping overhand right but Wall ducks down to avoid it. Rhust pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Wall throws a series of strikes that have Rhust backpedaling.
Wall looks to land a combination but Rhust avoids it well. Rhust drives through with a takedown into guard. Wall has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Rhust off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Wall moves out of range of the strikes. Wall lands a left and a right that send Rhust crashing to the mat, dazed. Wall thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Rhust is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Rhust throws a looping overhand right but Wall ducks down to avoid it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tobias Wall dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Wall throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Wall misses the shot to the body. Rhust misses with a left hand and Wall counters with a nice body shot. Wall swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice uppercut there from Wall. Rhust lands a nice shot to the body.
Wall sizes up Rhust with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Wall sends Rhust crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Wall is motioning to the referee to let Rhust up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Rhust is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rhust gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Wall points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Rhust wakes up just in time to hear Wall thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tobias Wall! Tobias Wall took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'Beating the ex-champ surely makes my stock higher. He was tough, but I knew I'd come out the victor. Thanks everyone for showing up!'.
