Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alex Goss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Raphsody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alex Goss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Raphsody! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Reed Andrews and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raphsody throws a right hand that Goss ducks under and follows up with a left that Goss also avoids with ease. Raphsody throws a nice looking combination but Goss bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Goss throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Raphsody. Goss looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Raphsody ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Goss moves away. Raphsody stuffs the takedown. Goss throws out a powerful jab. A low kick from Raphsody is predictable there and Goss counters with a nice double leg into side control. Raphsody won't be happy with that. Raphsody is trying to control Goss's posture but Goss avoids it. Goss looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Raphsody prevents Goss from improving position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raphsody gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Goss landing strikes from the mount. Poor strikes thrown by Goss there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Goss sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Goss seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Raphsody for as long as he can get away with. Goss landing strikes from the mount. Goss is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Raphsody can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Goss prevents Raphsody from getting the reversal. Goss has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Goss scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Goss with good strikes from the mount here! Goss tries to control but Raphsody wriggling away. Goss takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Poor strikes thrown by Goss there. That's three minutes gone in the round. Goss lands a big shot there that rocks Raphsody but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Raphsody is rocked! Goss lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Raphsody! Goss sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Raphsody and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
