Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Craig Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Armstrong kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Western by Roni Size. John Johnson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Johnson.
Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Armstrong.
The strikes coming from Armstrong are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Armstrong landing a few strikes.
Johnson dodges the ground and pound from Armstrong.
Armstrong trying to control the action but Johnson is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Armstrong staying calm.
Armstrong creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Johnson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Armstrong wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Johnson, who protects the arm well.
You can see the frustration on Johnson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Armstrong is chipping away with strikes.
Armstrong controlling from side mount.
Johnson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Armstrong wants to free his trapped foot but Johnson is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Johnson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Armstrong scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Armstrong seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Johnson is rocked!
Armstrong lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Johnson quite badly. Johnson pulls Armstrong in close trying to recover. Armstrong postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Johnson on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Johnson doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Craig Armstrong!
