Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paul Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darren King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kong comes into the arena with Evil Scotsman blaring out of the sound system. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King throws an overhand right that lands on Kong's shoulder, as Kong tries to avoid the shot.
King throws a looping overhand right but Kong ducks down to avoid it.
King throws a nice looking combination but Kong bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A punch combination from King misses.
Darren King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kong scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Kong gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
A shot to de liver by King. Beautiful body shot.
King throws a left that rocks Kong and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! King dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Kong regain composure!

Kong is rocked!

It looks like Paul Kong has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
King wants to stand but Kong is controlling his arm.
Oh Kong is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
King is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Kong is looking to work his way out of this bad position but King is controlling him well.
Kong seems to have got his legs back now.
Kong tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Kong sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Kong tries to get to full guard but King has control of the leg.
Kong is breathing heavily.
Kong trying to control but King postures up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Kong instigates a clinch.
Kong landing knees to the body.
Kong prevents King from breaking the clinch.

Kong has picked King up - he's going for a ride! Kong dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Kong is trying to control the action in half guard but King is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Kong is working for a kimura but King is defending it quite comfortably.
King is trying to stand.
King is trying to control but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King is looking to escape.
Kong is keen to just control but King is a slippery customer.

King tries to get to full guard but Kong has control of the leg.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A jab from King does it's job there.
King connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Kong tumbling to the canvas! King pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Kong was done - good stoppage!
